Nellie Ruth Thompson Brown sent a letter to the Washington State Library (WSL) to see if there was a county or state historical society that would be interested in the letters of her great-uncle, Martin Thompson, who lived in Olympia, WA. The collection includes copies of a typewritten transcription of the letters, copies of the letters, copy of photograph (presumably Martin Thompson) and a genealogy of the Family of Martin Thompson.

Maud P. Mitchell was born about 1883 in Oregon. She married Chas. R. Mitchell and by 1920 they were living in Chehalis, WA. Charles was an assistant cashier at the bank.
